I have a Pixma Pro100s that I used good quality refill inks. I refilled the black CLI42 cart earlier today and shortly after when I was printing out some vinyl stickers I started getting some severe smudging / ink spray and poor print quality. The refill inks and cartridges I have used plenty of times in the past with no problems. The printhead is fairly new (replaced 2 months ago) and is a genuine Canon one.
I've had problems with blocked nozzles / ink starvation with previous print heads and this doesn't look like that. I'm not sure what's going on here. A nozzle check showed the issue is with the black colour only. I've run cleaning cycles but it's not making any difference.
Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be here?
