Hi everyone,
I'm facing an issue with my Canon pixma Pro 100 and would appreciate any insights.
I created a selenium-toned black and white image in Photoshop (in RGB mode, not grayscale). When I soft-proof the image using the PRO mode setting in print studio , it displays the tone accurately. However, when I print it using Canon Print Studio Pro or directly from Photoshop with “Photoshop Manages Colors” the printed result shows as neutral black and white — the selenium tone is completely gone.
Interestingly, I printed the same file using a different low end canon printer TR7620A a normal office printer, and the selenium tone came through exactly as expected. So the file is not the problem.
I have attached the color tone on the digital version and the scanned version of the print below.
How my computer shows me.
How the image appears in the computer after adding the Selenium B&W effect in camera raw of phtoshop. This is how it appears in soft proofing in print stuido pro.
How the print looks like.
This is how my print appears
Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi kevinzcool,
First, let's perform a test of your PIXMA PRO-100.
Please load plain paper into the rear sheet feeder (not the manual feed tray).
Please press and hold the RESUME button until the power light blinks white twice, then let go of the button.
(The RESUME button is the middle button)
Please take a picture of the page that printed and then please attach it to your reply of this post.
Please note, Canon's Forum is not intended for immediate help, but a place to allow for the Community to give you assistance and feedback. For a quicker response, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account to reach Canon's Technical Support Team:

Thank you for your reply.
I will continue to discuss this issue in the forum to come with a solution. I have attached a picture of the page printed by holding on the resume key.

Check looks good. What paper are you printing on?
Can you post the file on One Drive or Dropbox and I can see what happens if I try to print it with my Pro-100.
I have found that monochrome prints are tough with the printer. Depending on the paper, different lighting types can cause color casts.
