Canon L36 copy/scan blank pages

We have a Canon IPF 770 plotter in our office with the L36 scanner/printer on top. It prints with no issues. But, it will not scan or copy. The scans and copies come out either blank or just grainy with random dots all over the paper.
In the past I have done a calibration and a color calibration and the issue was resolved. However, now I am not able to perform a calibration, I get error code 19 & 20. I have also just performed a firmware update with no luck. Thank you so much for any information or help!!

Hi skylarmcadams. I see that your L36 scanner (being used with your imagePROGRAF iPF770) is not scanning properly (pages are blank).

Please make sure that your documents are being loaded face up as shown on page 23 of the User Manual for this scanner. The loading instructions begin on page 21. Here is the link that will open that manual:

If the documents are being loaded face up, then I recommend that you clean the scanner. You’ll find instructions starting on page 36 of the same manual.

If these suggestions do not help, the scanner needs service please call us at 1-800-652-2666, Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. ET (excluding holidays) to find out what support options we have available for you. If you have not done so, please visit the following website to create a My Canon Account and register the printer/scanner before calling support.
