Canon Pixma mx 439. Wireless to desktop running Win 8.

I can print once.  If I try to print another doc I get an error message (printer not responding).   Once I turn off the machine and on again it will print......one doc only and it starts all over again.  Help

Hi chipsjake,

I would like to see if the printer is configured to use the right port.   I've seen this happen when it's using the WSD port instead of the CNBJNP port:

1.  Put your mouse in the top right corner to bring up the Charms Menu.

2.  Click Settings.

3.  Click Control Panel.

4.  Click Hardware and Sound.

5.  Click Devices and Printers.

6.  Right click the PIXMA MX439 Printer and click Printer Properties.

7.  Click the Ports tab.

8.  Make sure that the checkmark is on the port that starts with CNBJNP, then click OK and try to print.
