Hello I just bought this printer, I know it works I have a fault Cannot communicate with the scanner. cable disconnected blah, blah blah. This is a windows problem. I reinstalled windows with Ver. 24H2 and setup the printer-scanner and it works however I guess the system is updating its files and it no longer sees the scanner. What is the fix? I haven't even had the printer a week, very frustrating.

I have the software that is listed for the MF753Cdw from the Canon website.

Is there a place where we could download and install the previous version of the scan utility software, ver. 1.11.0.1?
I have another HP laptop that has the previous version of the scan utility software and that works fine, with all the Windows 11 updates and version 24H2.

I’m not sure. I have an MF726Cdw and have the MF Scan 1.21.02 from the Windows 11 driver filtering. I filtered to Win 10 x64 and pulled in the Patch for Network Scan driver too. They still didn’t work until the .NET Preview Windows Update I mentioned earlier, then MF Scan communicated again.

go back to 23h2 version of windows 11, new windows 24h2 has lots of bugs and microsoft will take long time. 23h2 will work easy and smoothly. i did this after 1 month and fixed my issue of mf656cdw
