imageCLASS MF743Cdw Error 230, Scanner driver not installed

Purchased a new MF743Cdw and tried to install the Printer software and MFscan Utility tool. Everything installed. Printer works flawlessly. But when we launch MF Scan utility tool it keeps throwing an error as "A scanner driver supporting this software is not installed. Install it and try again.". Removed and re-installed but the issue still exists. Does not know how to move forward. Any help

I have been having the same problem for months and have GIVEN up, after spending hundreds of $$ on genuine canon printer ink, I cant use the scanner!!

1. "Could not install the scanner driver. Try to install again." x 10000 

followed when I run the MF utility:

2. "A scanner driver supporting this software is not installed.  Install it and try again". - SEE #1  !@#$$
