imageCLASS MF267dw Scan to email issue

Hello I'm trying to assist a client with an issue with scan to email on his imageCLASS MF267dw. Whenever he tries scanning to his email it says "Canceling" on the display and then prints out a TX Results Report with "Error" next to his email address. 

I have set up his email through the UI on the computer at "http://<the IP address of the machine>/sendsupport_login.html" with no luck. The SMTP Server is correct as well as his login credentials. I installed the printer drivers and updated the firmware on the scanner itself which made no difference.

 

It is a network printer also. Any ideas?

  1. Which email service are you trying to connect the scanner to?
  2. In the error error port that prints, do you get an error code number? If so, what error do you get?
