imageCLASS LBP6230dw unable to connect to Chromebook

Frustrated. Old computer died and am having a devil of a time getting new one to do what I want. I got a Acer Chromebook mainly to use as a word processor. I have a Canon LBP6230dw printer and can't get it to connect wirelessly to my new Chromebook. I have tried over and over again with no success. I have downloaded the driver and installed it, it comes up in the offerings on the device page, printers. I send a job or print and the printer does nothing yet if I check printer jobs, it shows what I sent to print and even says printed "printed" yet the printer does nothing. I have looked for other drivers that would work but have not found any. What is my problem? I have gone through the process of loading them and trying it too many times to count...still nothing. help. I have turned the computer off, the printer off and tried to reboot it to no avail but am going to try that again. Any suggestions? I am about to return the computer and get another and see if it helps.

Hello,

We do have printers that work with the Chrome OS and you can view the list of printer's using the link HERE. Unfortunately the LBP6230 is not supported on the Chrome OS. You can also use the link HERE to check our current list of inkjet and laser printers that work with the Chrome OS.
