imageCLASS LBP6230dw driver installation not working as anticipated

Hello,

I'm following this instructional YouTube video to set up my imageCLASS LBP6230dw.

I did everything described in this video and it all went as expected until I got to 4:15, where clicking Next did not pull up my printer in the list of IPv4 Devices.

Any idea why that might be?

Hello Naddafamir,

If the printer is not being detected during the setup, there are a few things you can try to get the computer to detect the printer. 

1. You can try turning off any firewall or anti-virus software that might be blocking the setup.

2, You can try power cycling your router by unplugging it for 5 seconds and plugging it back in.

3, You can try connecting the printer to your network using a WPS button if your router has one. To do so, you can hold down the WPS button on the printer for 5 seconds and then pressing the WPS button on the router.

If the printer is still not detected, I would suggest checking with our support team over the phone at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to assist with the issue.
