Missing print options

Remote startup - shutdown of Pixma MX922

Is there a way to remotely startup or shutdown, aside from through the printer driver, the Pixma MX922?  Ideally I would like to accomplish both through my browser.  Although command line options would work for me.

mx870 locked and will not respond

My MX870 printer will not respond.  I cannot turn it off, nothing.  It currently gives the Standard Copy message and has the blue circles around black and color.  Yellow light is on at Copy option.   I tried to turn it off but it will not respond.  

wireless setup to android

 I used to be able to print from my tablet using maxify.  It will no longer work and I'm having trouble with the setup.
