Thanks!
But I worded my question badly.
I wish to find out the driver version currently installed.
I bought my printer in 2019.
The latest driver on CANON's web site is version 1.07 from 2021.
Presumably that driver is newer than the one now installed.
But I can't find out what version is now installed.

Canon's Instructions say to click the About button on the driver window's Maintenance tab.
That displays a dialog that says
"Canon Inkjet Printer Driver
Version 2.85
Copyright CANON INC 2000-2014"

with a long list of DLL and CHM file names of version 2.85.2.60.

I'm not a tech, so I'm not sure how to check the current version installed, but you always want to ensure the most current version of the drivers and software are installed to prevent the possibility of any issues popping up! 😊

For normal people, that is good advice.  But fiddling with basal components like drivers gives me the heebie jeebies.  Even if the driver is obsolete, the printer works ok, so I'll likely leave it, unless CANON persuades me I need to update.

Professional Print and Layout does not support the Pro-100. If you don’t already have it installed you want Print Studio Pro.

Print Studio Pro is a plug-in for Photoshop, Elements, and Lightroom, and Canon Digital Photo Professional.  I don't have Photoshop and Lightroom, and Elements and Canon run on Windows 10+.  I use GIMP and Windows 7.

(At the risk of diverting the topic -- I am using Scribus, development  version 1.5.8.  Stable version 1.4.8 crashed when I tried to load a 537 MB TIF file.)

Greetings,

Try looking in Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs Applet

Look for the Canon Drivers listing, scroll to the right.

I followed your advice.  Result:

No version number, of course.

Try this then.

Open Device Manager.

+Expand Printers

Right click on the Pro 100, select properties from the context menu

Select the Details tab, then use the drop down menu and select Driver Version
