Trying to get the scanner for my wifi connected MF272dw to work with LMDE6 Linux, or Linux Mint 21.2 or Ubuntu 22.4. It works with Windows 10 and the drivers Canon provides on their site. The printer works on Linux but not the scanner since there are no drivers to be found.

Does anyone know if Canon has any intention of supporting the MF272dw by providing linux 'SCANGEAR' in the future?

In Linuxes you use the Scan application. In Mint it's in the application menu. I use it all the time.

normandel,
Do you have an imageCLASS MF27x series? It doesn't work for me, simple Scan nor XSane.

No, I don't. I have an MF8350 Laser and a Pixma 5420 inkjet. Both work with Scan.
