I installed the Printer, which works, but the scanner portion of my multifunction does not. The Support page recognized my operating system and version, and showed a driver DL for the scanner, but Canon shows it as not compatible on another page of the website. Is my D480 printer/scanner toast?

Thank you, I'll check out those two ideas. Even the Dell Pro Support tech was stumped, but she was going to float it around with some other people at Dell and see if they had any ideas.
It ran fine under Win 10.
Seems like it's a Windows 11/ older Scanner problem...My Epson multi-function is actually having the same problem. The scanner software Toolbox installs fine, but not the scanner itself 😩.

I tried adding Windows FAX and Scan under Optional Features, but the Next button after checking the FAX and Scan feature was grayed out, so I couldn't enable it ☹️. I checked for a driver in Device Manager but it couldn't find one (my error doesn't mention :"missing WIA Driver". It just says "No Scanner Found).
