My wife, an attorney, currently owns three Canon printers. The absolute best is an LBP6000 that we bought in 2005 just after we moved to Thailand. It was hard at that time to get genuine Canon toner cartridges where we live, so we purchased third party cartridges and have continued to do so for the last 20 years. The printer is a gem. It never jams. The print quality is great and the third party cartridges seem to have a long life. The only problem we've ever had is a paper feed roller that hardened with age. We easily replaced it ourselves. We like it so much we're thinking of replacing both of the following printers with the new WiFi version of the LBP 6000.
We have an imageCLASS MF272dw that is about a year old. I wrote about its dismal toner cartridge life in a different thread. We've always used genuine Canon cartridges in this printer because we didn't want to void the warranty. The first standard cartridge lasted six months. The most recent lasted one month. There's no way that we printed six times as many pages in the last month than we did in the first six months. But, since no one seems willing to offer up an alternative reason for the declining cartridge life I've given up. My wife now buys two cartridges at once because they last such a short time.
We also have an MF4420w. The hinge on the scanner cover broke soon after the warranty ended. So, we moved this printer from the office to our home where it's just a printer. Unfortunately, it has developed a fault where a power outage prevents it from reconnecting to the WiFi network. Doing it manually doesn't work either. What works is waiting a day or three, after with the printer connects to the WiFi network all by itself. It's a mystery.
Best printer ever. Still going strong after 20 years.

Thanks for joining the conversation, Buadhai! If you're seeking help on any of these printers, we recommend starting a separate thread for each one. It'll make it easier to keep track of which printer is being talked about in each reply.

No,I don’t need help. I just thought it might be interesting to relate our rather varied experience in using several Canon printer products. Some great. Some not so great.
Thanks for you reply.
