I recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 and have a TR8600 series multifunctional printer. Although I could get both the printing and scanning capabilities to work with a generic Windows 11 "Microsoft IPP Class Driver", I have not been able to get fax functionality to work. The current Windows 11 drivers on Canon's support web site don't seem to work on an ARM-based architecture (error: "This program is not supported on the computer.").
Will Canon provide ARM-compatible drivers in the near future and/or is there another way to get full TR8600 device functionality?

Until Canon provides the appropriate drivers you might be able to use VueScan.

Hi John, thanks for the quick reply. I was able to get the Scan functionality to work using the standard Microsoft drivers, so don't think I need VueScan. I'm looking for a way to get the Fax function to work as well (i.e. have "Canon TR8600 series FAX" available as a print device).
