Other computers see imagePROGRAF TM-300, my Surface laptop doesn't

I currently have a Canon ImagePROGRAF TM-300 in our office on the network used by various employees.

Everyone else is able to print to it just fine.

I tried to install the drivers but the software cannot find the printer on the network, I've looked at all network settings and everything appears to be fine.

I've looked over the forum and other online content. Can anyone confirm if this problem is related to my laptop having an ARM processor and possibly not be compatible?

If that's the case, is there a fix? I've tried to manually install the printer but the correct driver is not available, perhaps someone in a similar situation can enlighten me. I'm ready to give up at this point, but the thought of having to go to another station every time I want to use the printer is absurd.

Canon TM series is not on the list of  Canon ARM/Snapdragon compatible printers. You may be able to install it using Windows generic printer drivers:

I think my colleague's assessment is spot on. Unfortunately ARM-based devices still have very limited software and peripheral support.
