Setting Up Print Preview Window in Print Dialogue Pro 100

Sbrell

I use a MacBook Pro with Sonoma 14 OS.  I am trying to get a print preview window in my print dialogue box but cannot find anywhere in the driver utility to check the print preview box.   I have a Canon Pro 100 printer with driver version 16.9  However, I can;t find how to determine my firmware.   I have been trying to print a 13x18 image and the printer keeps cutting the image off at the very end.  If I PDF the images it comes out whole.  I have tried printing both wirelessly and USB connected.  Any help you can lend is appreciated.

I resolved my issue.  When I originally set up the printing parameters, I set up a custom paper size of 12x18.  The printer obviously did not like my custom size and kept cutting off my image.  I changed my paper size to A3+ 13x19 and my image printed just fine,  Problem solved.  Thank you to all who tried to help me.  Have a good day.

What software are you printing from? What paper and media type?

I am using Sure Cuts A lot 5 Pro software and printing on permanent vinyl.  When I printed to PDF, I was able to see a print preview but got the same printed results.  Screen shots attached.Screenshot 2025-05-02 at 5.45.15 PM.pngIMG_1690.jpeg

What if you select Scale to Fit->Print Entire Image.

What media type is selected? It needs to be a Canon paper name.

Does anywhere in the software show you the paper and margins? It looks like there are some sort of cut lines at the bottom of the print.

I can't scale to fit the page.  This is a print and cut vector file and must be at 100% to work.  The marks at the beginning of the image are registration marks read by my cutting machine.  They should be printed at the end of the image also.  I have set this image up at zero margins.  I wonder if I set some small margins if that might make a difference.  I have selected photo paper as my media even though it is permanent printable vinyl  The texture feels luke photo paper.

Maybe you need to contact the software company.

Actually I think it is with the printer and here is why.  I took my PDF file to Staples and asked them to print my image on their wide format printer.  It came out perfectly.  Unfortunately, they could not manually feed my media into their printer to print, the roller is too short or narrow.  I then updated my Firmware to the current version and tried again.  Same results as above.  I wish there was a way to talk to Canon technical support to see what I may be doing wrong.

I just printed the same images on a 12x12 sheet and they printed just fine.  Does anyone know how much memory the Pro100 has.  Could my larger image be cutting off between the computer and printer?  IMG_1694.jpeg

Thank you Stephen.  I will try to talk to them tomorrow.  I am in Florida.
