Pixma MP250 Unable to Install Driver

Hello,

I recently picked up an old MP250 Printer. Everything seems to be working (mechanically), however I am having issues downloading the driver, being stuck on the connect cable part of the download. A message stating "Cannot detect the printer", however the printer is being detected in the printer settings, and leaves the message of "driver not detected".

Anyone have a solution?

nevermind got it fixed. Had to remove the printer from the "detected printers" and it done it. Sweet!

I have the same problem.  Cannot install driver.  What did you do to make it work?  I can't even find this particular printer in the list of drivers.
