Pixma MG 3620 won't connect to new router

I had a new intenet service and router installed, it connectes to everything (phones,tablets,laptop) but will not connect to the printer. When I printed the Network Config Page it still shows the old SSID. How can I remove the old SSID?

Greetings,

The MG3620 is tricky as it doesn't have any display to help you see where changes might be needed.  I recommend running the set up again to configure a new SSID and password.

 

Note, the printer will only connect to a 2.4 Ghz broadcast, so if you are using a dual or tri-band router and are using the same SSID name (SMART Connect) or similar feature, the printer may not associate with the correct radio or broadcast.  Recommend you give each broadcast its one unique name.

If your new router has a WPS button your can try this method to connect your PIXMA MG3620 to your wireless network:
