PIXMA TR8520: iPad Air connection to Canon printer

I recently purchased a new iPad Air.  I have a Canon printer which worked perfectly before this new purchase.  All my other devices worked perfectly too.  Now nothing works.  I think I need to add this new device but not sure how to do this.  WiFi connection looks good.   Do I need to download a new driver or??

I downloaded the Canon print app and was able to fix my connection issue. Problem solved! Thanks for your response!

Canon printer is Pixma TR8520.  The new computer is an iPadOS18.1.1.  I have a wireless connection.

What other devices are you talking about? Are you saying that the printer worked with your previous iPad? What printing app did you use?
