PIXMA Pro9000 print driver for Windows 11

JeffHendy

I just upgraded to a new computer with Windows 11 and can't find a driver for my old but trusty Pro9000 printer.

The Canon site says there is no support for this printer - I no longer have the CD that came with the printer.

Is there a solution, other than trashing the printer?

Thanks

Jeff

You could try downloading the latest version of the driver from an OS option that has a driver (W8.1) and see if that will work.

Thats good info Ken.
For the benefit of others can you verify if the  full printer features via the Canon driver work? Can you select and use the Canon ICC paper profiles?

I know that Apple has the AirPrint driver that has a reduced feature set and Windows has a comparable WPS driver.

I have installed all the recommended drivers for a w11 from the Canon site. Printer is connected via USB. Device manager shows it listed under USB controllers, BUT the diagnose app cannot find. Any suggestions?

Product is 2013 vintage Pro9000 Mark II

I don’t see any W11 drivers. Just two apps.

Latest driver I see is W8.1.

Try Windows 10 driver. Very often, Win10 drivers work in Windows 11.

Latest driver is for W8.1.
