PIXMA PRO-100 doesn't show up on Mac after successful driver install

Hello. I downloaded and installed the driver for the Canon Pro 100 for my M4 Studio, it said it was successful and prompted to move the install file to the trash which I normally do. However nothing shows up in the print list to add a new printer. There is also nothing in my library under printers. I wanted to uninstall everything before I tried again but I can't find a way to uninstall. I searched the whole Mac for any reference to the canon driver and nothing shows up, even copy and paste from system info. I tried a restart and a shutdown.

The printer is connected with the original USB. I downloaded the driver with Sequoia selected the OS drop down because I didn't have Tahoe yet. Nothing happens when the printer is plugged in and there is nothing in the add printer list or the library. The only place I see that stuff is installed is though system information. I'll add screenshots.

I'd really like to be able to uninstall this stuff before trying again. Is there a way to do that? Also how can I install again successfully? Screenshot 2026-02-28 at 2.38.01 PM.pngScreenshot 2026-02-28 at 2.38.39 PM.pngScreenshot 2026-02-28 at 2.39.44 PM.pngScreenshot 2026-02-28 at 2.42.07 PM.pngScreenshot 2026-02-28 at 2.44.42 PM.png

Greetings,

If a program installed, it should appear in your Applications folder.  To remove, drag the installed program from the Applications folder to the trashcan.

I suggest restarting between installation attempts.

Drivers for your printer are available here:

https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-pro-100

For a USB connection, do not connect the USB cable until prompted to do so by the installation utility.

When you say "However nothing shows up in the print list to add a new printer." do you mean when you choose "Add Printer, Scanner or Fax" nothing shows up?

There is nothing in the application folder. The only place that shows any canon printer install information is in the system info that I screen shot.

Yes. If you look at the second to last screen shot it says no printers and the add button is grayed out because there's nothing to select

Give Canon support a call at 1-800-OK-Canon.
