PIXMA MP490 driver not detected during driver install while OS can see the printer

Hello Have a new Computer with Windows 11. Launched the driver installer before connecting printer (mp68-win-mx490-1_02-ea33_3). Select USB connection, waited for prompt to connect and turn on printer, printer is never detected. OS does show Cannon MP490 in the device manger under Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Printer works with Windows 10 Computer connected to the same cable.

When selecting the Cannon MP490 and going to driver details I see ..system\32\drivers\usbprint.sys
I have copied the files from the %temp% folder when running the installer. Can I install the printer driver with some PowerShell script or command prompt given I can see the information from the Windows 10 Machine as reference? 

I get that printer is no longer made and that there will be a push to upgrade the printer. However the printer works well with a windows 10 machine. Please don't make me have to get a USB drive to copy files I want to print to my windows 10 machine. Posts on community have show others have gotten the printer to work on Windows 11.

I will event accept direct messages on commands to run to get this installed.

Correction, used the mp68-win-mp490-1_05-ea24 printer driver

After downloading the mp68-win-mp490-1_05-ea24.exe and running, files are copied to a folder in %temp%. Copied these files to a different folder. Inside the extracted files are .inf files. Used command prompt with admin permissions navigated to ...\mp68-win-mp490-1_05-ea24\Driver\ , then ran command PNPUTIL /add-driver "[path to .inf file] /install . Note that there are 2 .inf files, one for 32 bit, one for 64 bit. If installing yourself be sure to grab the correct version (almost always going to be 64 bit now). When command finished got a pop-up window saying driver install completed.
  
After finished installing, restarted computer. I can now print again.

This is all great info. Thank you for posting. You didn't mention whether your version of Windows 11 is 64-bit or ARM. I don't think the 64-bit driver will work on the ARM version of Windows, but I could be wrong. If you don't mind, please let the Community know (just for clarification for anyone who comes here later).
