Hi I have a Canon MG3600 printer and recently changed my wifi from Sparklite Cable Co to EERO Frontier Cable and ever since then I have not been able to connect my wireless printer with the new wifi. I've watched video's read everything and can't seem to connect it.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for joining the conversation, dcmatus!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA MG3600 series.  The model number should appear on the front of the unit at the lower right. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

The serial number is KMPL[xxxxx] - I see MG3620 at the bottom right.

Hi dcmatus,

First, the PIXMA MG3620 is not compatible with WPA3.  If your EERO router uses WPA3, please contact your internet service provider and have them change it to WPA2.  Once you connect, you can then change it back to WPA3 if you like.

Also, the PIXMA MG3620 only works with 2.4Ghz.  If your router is broadcasting 5GHz and 2.4Ghz, this may cause the issues you are experiencing as well.

You can open the EERO app on your mobile device and tap Settings in the lower right.

Tap Troubleshooting and then My device won't connect.  Select "My device is 2.4 GHz only" and press "Temporarily pause 5 GHz".

Your EERO will now disable the 5 GHz frequency band for 10 minutes.

Once these are complete, please follow the steps on this page to connect your PIXMA MG3620 to your Wi-Fi:
