I am trying to connect my Pixma MG2920 printer to my Mac computer. I had it connected previously, but my computer had to be reimaged so I must reinstall the software. My Mac detects the printer when I try to add a new printer in the system settings, but there is no driver to select. My I search the MG2920 on the software and drivers section of the Canon website, there are 5 choices, but none of them are the driver. Can anybody point me to the right location? I am running the Sequoia 15 OS if that matters. Thanks.

The latest Canon driver for your printer is macOS Big Sur. What happens is you select the printer?

I have the exact same problem. I just bought new ink cartridges.
What was the solution?

After much research it appears that my PIXM MG2920 is so old that it is no longer compatible with the latest software and will not communicate with my new MacBook Air without the latest software.
Bummer. Guess I need a new printer.......
