This is odd because I haven't upgraded the system on my Mac Mini (running Ventura), but I suddenly can't complete the printing process using Canon's Professional Print and Layout software. Photoshop 2024 does recognize the plug-in and gets me to the PPL window. But when I hit "print" I get an error telling me to check the user interface. Same thing happens when I attempt to use PPL as a stand-alone, dropping an image onto the PPL workspace. I uninstalled the old Canon software and reinstalled the most current versions. The printer is working fine: I can print without using the PPL software. So this must be an issue with PPL and how it's communicating with my Mac Mini and the printer. Anyone else experience this? Thanks.

Hi, Patrick - thanks for your response. There was no "Airprint" indication. I tried deleting all instances of the Canon Pixma Pro-200, deleting and reinstalling the Canon drivers, deleting and reinstalling PPL, all with no luck. However, since my original post I discovered this solution. It worked.

Hi prymsnap,
Please follow these steps:
1. Click on the Apple in the upper left corner.
2. Click on System Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the left side and click on Printers & Scanners.
4. Click on your PIXMA PRO-200 on the right.
In the new window that appears, please look at what appears nexto to "Kind".
Does "PRO-200 Airprint" appear there?
