MX420 software for MAC

I am unable to connect my Mac to my printer as it says the software for this printer isn't available from Apple. I have downloaded all available software options on Canon's page and still nothing. I call and it says we no longer help you except for online and hangs up. Can someone please help me?!?!

You don't say what macOS you are using, but it looks like Canon stopped providing drivers for an OS later than 10.12 (macOS Sierra).
