I've gotten scan-to-email set up and the smtp server and authentication configured, but every time I try to send to scan to email, I keep getting hit with Error Code #806 ("The user name or password for sending to the file server, or the address for sending by email, may be incorrect"). I looked this up and confirmed that the password is correct and the address book entries are registered. Any more assistance anyone can provide would be very helpful.

Regarding the scan-to-email configuration:
Always verify that the SMTP email address, sender email, password, SMTP ports, and DNS settings are correct.
In your case, the issue might lie with the authentication email used for sending messages or the password; however, since you have already checked those, please verify the other settings mentioned above.
