I tried both of the canon apps and they could not identify the printer despite the blue wifi light either blinking or on steady. There were no instruction in the box or on CD on how to connect with phone despite the numerous labels on the box of this functionality. I have the printer connected by USB due to all the reviews stating that is the best way to printer to function normally.
