Having trouble getting a wireless connection to NETGEAR Nighthawk R7000

Hi,

I can connect to the router by going through the configuration menu, but the printer does not show up on the nextwork.  The printer in question is an MX870.

Any help appreciated!!

Michael, you seem so knowledgeable! My Canon MG2922 was connected to my velocity hotspot and I was able to print from my iPhone with ease after downloading the Canon AP.
I just purchased a new Netgear Nighthawk and activated it.
I’m able to connect to it on everything I’ve tried so far. (DirecTv, phones, computers and Sonos). After attempting to connect my Canon Mg2922 printer for numerous hours I called canon texh support. After 3.5 hrs on hold and 45min of troubleshooting they were unable to help! They said I need to call netgear.
Any suggestions would be appreciated
