Get Documents into print cue on iPad using Canon Printing Solution App

Iinstalled the PIXMA Printing Solution App on my iPad. I can print pictures to my printer as well as scan to iPad from printer, but I can't seem to get Notes or email to go to the Print Documents Tab in the Solution App. What am I doing wrong?
