Just got a new G3202 printer and i follow both the setup instructions in the manual and with the software but the printer is not getting detected during the setup. Any advice would be appreciated.

Greetings,
The first thing to do is confirm the device is indeed connected to your WiFi.
Following the steps below:
Canon Knowledge Base - Easy Wireless Setup for Windows - PIXMA G3200
The printer will only connect to a 2.4Ghz broadcast, so if your router is using SMART connect or similar (One SSID for both broadcasts) you might need to temorarily disable this feature during the printer's installation.
