Canon Print Service won't let me choose paper tray, have to set it on printer

Canon Prt Svc on Pixel 7 Pro-Android 14 will not find imageCLASS LBP62 even if I specify IP address.

Canon ImageClass lbp622cdw. Canon print service worked fine with a Pixel 5a, but not with the Pixel 7 Pro/Android 14. Phone will connect successfully using Default or Mopria print services, but in each case I must walk to the printer and specify Tray 1, since all print jobs try to use the Multipurpose tray. I have tried disabling the Multipurpose tray, but problem remains. Any suggestions, or does Canon need to update their print service for Android 14? Thank you.

Having the same problem, only trying to print from laptop. It always defaults to Multipurpose tray, where you have to manually enter a sheet of paper. Anyway to select the paper tray full of paper as the automatic choice?
