Canon PIXMA MG5750 does not connect to PC!

Kira78

I changed my room and now all of a sudden my printer does not connect with my pc, laptop nor mobile phone. I tried everything and made sure that i am on the same router, but still no connection between the devices.

If you had your printer disconnected from your network for too long, and it uses DHCP from the router to get an IP address, it could have a different address. Any device that is looking for it at the previous address will not find it.

The answer to this phenomenon is to change the printer's network settings to use a Static IP address, which will not change, period. You also need to tell your router to set aside the address to reserve it for the printer and not give it to any other device. How you do this varies with routers, so get assistance from the router suppler/manufacturer or local computer support.
