Canon MX340 Windows 11 no drivers

sherryp5165

I purchased a new PC and not thinking that my Canon MX340 would not work I no longer have the installation disks and my printer is probably 13 years old. Please advise if there is a driver that can be sent to me to install so that my perfectly good printer can work with my new system.

Hi Sherryp5165!

The PIXMA MX340 is an older model which we have retired. That means Canon USA no longer offers software updates or direct support for it, however the Canon Community is welcome to offer suggestions.

You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help with replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them weekdays and Saturdays at 1-866-443-8002.

Do you still have your old system? Even if you no longer have the disk, you probably still have the EXE files on your old computer, right? Just copy those over to your new computer (if you can) and see if it works.

Yes but unfortunately I did a factory reset on it.

Greetings ,

You can download the Windows 10 drivers and use them with Windows 11.  Should work without any difficulty.
