I'm using the CanoScan 9000F Mark II.

Hi,

Open the IJ Scan Utility and go to Settings.  Once there, select the Default settings for each tab on the left and click OK.

I set the defaults for each. It still saves two copies. No fix.

I have the same problem. At first, everything was fine, and then suddenly it started making two copies of each scan.

Hi,

You can try removing and reinstalling the scanner driver but if that does not resolve the issue, I recommend reaching out to Canon support. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
