Black lines appear on scanned document, how can I resove black line issue?

I have an MX532 and it just started showing a black line when scanning from the ADF.  I have tried cleaning the glass but it makes no differenc

 

Hi jzemaitis.

 

In addition to cleaning the glass of the MX532, there is a plastic protrusion above the scanning area for the document feeder (toward the left side of the lid).  Try cleaning that as well. If the black lines continue, then the MX532 will need to be replaced.  For support and service, if you are located in the U.S., refer to your My Canon Account at https://mycanon.usa.canon.com.
