The date and time menu constantly resets itself to zero. I have to input the correct values several times a day. Is there a fix for this??

I have an SX 120 IS and have the sanme problem. As I cannot find anything under SX 120 in the Community, the manual for the 120 says it, the Date/Time battery lasts approximately 7 years and the replacement is a CR 1220 - is this still correct?

Have the same issue with my Powershot SX160 IS which is seldom used.
Followed the advice of the other commenters of this thread and successfully replaced the battery, however the problem persists. As soon as I reboot the camera I need to set the date and time.
Anyone...?
