Computer Control of PowerShot?

The software that came with my old PowerShot G3 could control the camera from the PC (showed the view from the camera on the PC's monitor, released the shutter).  Is this option available with any of the newer PowerShots like the SX50 HS or SC120 iS?

Thats pretty cool I didnt know the G3 could do that.

I have the SX50HS and can confirm it is not capable of computer control

The camera window software that allowed computer control no longer contains that utility. I had that for my PowerShot A510 and it was a fun utility. I'm not sure when they removed it or why. My PowerShot G12 and SX150 IS don't have that either.
