I have a Canon SX610SX and I can connect via Wifi without any problems to a Samsung tablet but am unable to connect to CameraWindow on my Windows 10 laptop. WiFi connection setup seems to work ( I had some issues getting media streaming to look as if it is working but am past that stage now) but CameraWindows does not seems to be able to see the camera even though it is connect to my Wifi.
The camera and CameraWindows connect perfectly well using a USB cable connection.
Anyone have an ideas on what I may be doing wrong/not doing?

I have now answered my own question by calling Canon Support. The SX610HS Wi-Fi connection is NOT supported under Windows 10 only under Windows 8 and some earlier versions of Windows. This is despite their web site indicating that all I had to do to connect to Wi-Fi was to read and follow the instructions in the camera manual. Connection to Windows 10 via USB is supported.
I am a very unhappy bunny and will attempt to return the camera and get a refund. Sony here I come.
