I'm trying to update my camera but sthe steps and video's I found online explain that I should go to settings and then go to firmware but I seem to be missing a few menu items compared to what I found online.
When I try to connect my camera to my phone I have to update the firmware..
I bought the phone on vacation in Australia and now I'm in Europe so I can't really go back to the store.
Any ideas?

Hi.
Looks like you need to switch to the blue Playback menu screen:

I don’t have that camera, but on a lot of cameras the menu screens are truncated if you aren’t in a creative mode like P, Tv, etc.

Thank you!
For those from the future who also have this problem: Wether it was on auto or not didn't matter. I had to turn it off, then press the playback button (without turning it on) then click on menu and there it was. It would not appear when I turned the camera on first and then pressed the playback button.

Greetings,
As John eluded, put your camera into "M" manual mode. This will allow all menus to display.
