I have a PowerShot S100 and a Mac OS x 10.9. When I plug into my Mac Mini to download images/movies into the computer I get the message "No camera was found". Note I've recently had the OS X 10.9 installed. So I think this might be a software problem. If this is a software problem, can someone send URL for a Canon download that will work?
Thanks,
Ross

John,
Thanks for helping out with the page to software. I may be out of luck though as I get this message:
"There is no recommended download for the OS version you selected." That's OS X Mavericks v10.9.
Must I really have to toss out / replace the camera? Any other ideas besides installing another OS?

Website can be confusing. Click on the Software option.

John, indeed I find 4 options, as follows:
--Digital Photo Professional 3.15.0 Updater for Mac OS X 10/28/15 92.60 MB
--ImageBrowser EX for Mac OS X 09/30/15 36.83 MB
--CameraWindow DC 8.10.5a for Mac OS X 04/16/15 12.99 MB
--PhotoStitch 3.2.7 Updater for Mac OS X 10.8 / 10.9 12/24/14 12.38 MB
Do you have any thoughts on which to choose? And when I click "select" will the item just start to download?
Thanks again!
Ross

For download I would download and install Camera Window.
If you click Select you will get download page.
If that doesn't correct your problem give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.

John, that download worked and I have been able to download from the camera.
Thanks so much!
