My Canon imageClass D550 scanner is not responding upon operation. I suspected it might be because of my recent upgrading the PC to Windows 10. I downloaded a driver of above model but could not be able to install it by observing an error message of below:
Can't create output file: D550MFDriversV2031W64usEN\x64\misc\1stDrvRes.dll
Please advice me what to do in this case. Thanks.

Greetings,
Drivers for the D550 Windows 10 (32 and 64bit) are avaialble:
I would suggest removing the printer from Control Panel > Device and Printers, then uninstall all Canon related software (Programs and Features. Now restart.
Then install the printer using compatibile drivers. Its not possible to upgrade and install drivers over each other after an upgrade when printing/scanning, etc is already "broken". Starting over with compatible drivers is recommended.
