my imageclass 8380Cdw will print a beautiful black and white printer status and config report (initiated from printer). But it will not print any black and white when attempting to print a file from macbook air computer. Comes out black with smudges of yellow. It will print color images. The behaviour makes me think there is a software/driver issue. Any advice? Thank you.
actually I located the updated driver for my mac version on the cannon website, downloaded, set up the printer again on the mac, and this resolved the problem. Please consider providing this advice to future folks with my concern.
Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The imageCLASS 8380Cdw is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
