imageCLASS MF751Cdw - Scans come out desaturated and missing red hues??

Hi! Issue is exactly as title says- my scans from my imageCLASS MF751Cdw, purchased in June, are now coming out desaturated and seemingly... missing the red hues of the colors of the actual drawing I'm trying to scan? I don't think this was happening before, but admittedly I was only scanning black and white drawings to color digitally. My girlfriend attests that her own drawing scans were a little bright compared to my old HP inkjet, but not missing any of the colors like this one is. i updated the firmware, and updated my Canon PRINT app (my only way to scan, as i dont have my PC hooked up to the printer, and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to let me add my email as a destination without that error of not having set it up from day 1). it still comes out just looking... weird.

another detail- this drawing was colored with layers of highlighters (meant for coloring, though). could the bright light be TOO bright, and be physically washing out the colors? there were about five pieces of paper behind it as i scanned it, though.

does anyone know why the hell this might be happening, or other small settings i havent checked that may be causing it? thank you!Screenshot 2025-10-28 at 22-49-23 IMG_8029.jpg (JPEG Image 3024 × 4032 pixels) — Scaled (23%).pngphotoofdrawing.jpgweirdscan.jpg

I does, but this is a user supported forum. It is not a Canon support line.

As such you will need to tap not a population of members that have your printer, reduced by the people that also use the Canon PRINT app and further educed by people that might have experienced that problem and an assist you. For a unique problem it could be a wait. Your best bet would be to contact the Canon support line for your region.
