I deleted the old software and reinstalled the software from the canon website. The device can currently print, but it just stopped being able to copy or scan documents. I updated the most recent patch, but that didn't fix it. Suggestions?

Hello,
If the copies are completely blank, it will point to a hardware issue. It looks like the scanner element has failed or the connection for the scanner element is disconnected. To check your service options, you can log into you My Canon account or contact support at 1-800-652-2666.
