imageCLASS MF753Cdw error 2100009 not scanning

when I try to work from printer/scan option directly, it says to email a scan would require setup in remote iu, not sure how to do that    ive always used my laptop/wireless, and Image Capture  from utilities/printers and scanners.  all of a sudden after a different laptop set up to use it not working

unplugged, reset, deleted all now I can't find how to redownload drivers,  Macbook did just update

Greetings,

Scan to Email is a feature provided by the printer.

Like a mail client on your computer, mobile device or tablet, etc. you have to provide information about the email hosting service you wish to use to send or receive mail on the printer.  Configuration is performed in the printers Remote UI. 

Example: Gmail 

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com 

 

Port: 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL)

Authentication: Yes

Username: your full email address

Password: Use a 16 digit App Password (no dashes or spaces)
