Hello,
I've dealt with this error on and off over the last 3 years. I know how to fix it but for some reason today, it's not working. Typically I go into the UI Remote port and have to re-enter my password. For some reason, this no longer fixes my error. I'm not sure where to go from here. I've been on hold with canon support for over an hour and no one will pick up the phone and help me. This is really exhausting. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks for joining the conversation, Syrissa!
So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

Hi Danny,
My apologies.. I guess that would be helpful. I am using a Canon ImageClass mf743cdw.

Hi - I am encountering the same issue and I think it may have to be with Google and MS Office365 requiring updated signing (no longer supporting "less secure apps"). See link below for Microsoft's announcement.
Are there any plans for this printer to support Oauth2? Same product as Syrissa (MF743CDW)
