I just purchased the above printer.  In the box came an extra plastic piece that I can't figure out if this is a extra or needs to go on the printer somewhere.  I'm attaching a picture.  Anybody know what this is for?

Hi, scottfeld!  That piece is the legal dust cover.  The paper drawer can be extended to fit longer paper sizes such as legal-sized paper.  When you do that, however, the drawer will stick out from the front of the printer.  When that happens, just put the legal dust cover on and that'll keep dust and other stuff out of the drawer.
