imageCLASS MF267dw II Scanned images are all screwed up

What is the trick to correctly scanning a document ?

I have a mf267dw II.   I use the MF scan utility and the image is all screwed up once it scans.  

How do you get ahold of someone at canon customer no service to answer a question
